How did you meet your spouse/partner?

Dee Ann was the Director of Motor Meals of Ann Arbor and was on the Interview Team that chose Don to become the Chief of Volunteers at the University of Michigan Medical Center and Kellogg Eye Center. Shortly after Don was hired, she compiled a list of famous places in Ann Arbor that every Ohio State Buckeye would need to be familiar. While having lunch at Zingerman's Delicatessen, Don ordered the Roast Beef Sandwich with Hot Mustard. The Mustard was so hot that tears rolled down Don's cheek and Dee Ann mistook him for being sensitive. They married in 1985.

What have you been up to since you graduated?

Don has always served as an administrator of non-profit, agencies and volunteer programs including the YWCA, Juvenile Probation Council, Vision Center of Central Ohio, Mount Carmel Medical Center, Grant Hospital, Newark Memorial Hospital, The University of Michigan Medical Center & Kellogg Eye Center, The Toledo Society for the Blind, and the Flint Visually Impaired Center.

Doon has always served in his home parishes and was instrumental in establishing the Flushing Christian Outreach Center, an ecumenical collaborative that provides a Food Bank, Clothing Closet, and Information & Referral programs in Flushing, Michigan.

It has been 55 years since we last laughed at something silly happening on the bus. It would be great if you and Dave are able to Reunion at Heatherdowns CC. It's just up the road from our old neighborhoods! I'm so glad you joined the Website. It was always empty without you!
