Janice served for 22 years in the United States Air Force. Remarkably, she was the first woman to fly on the Airborne Command Post, code-named "Looking Glass." After her service in the military, Janice earned her bachelor's degree from The Pennsylvania State University at Fayette. She was most recently employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor as a supervisor for Fayette Careerlink. Janice had many talents. She enjoyed boating, and playing the flute and especially loved talking on the telephone to friends and family.
